What type of sessions do you provide?

I provide studio sessions (backdrops and professional lighting), lifestyle portraits (where your own house is the backdrop) and outdoor portraits.

Who do you photograph?

Newborns, babies, children, siblings, and family sessions. I also provide maternity sessions, child modeling, headshots, environmental portraits and commerical photography.

What is on-location?

On-location means I come right to you! For studio sessions, I set up right in your own home (family room, dining room) etc. Sessions occur in the comfort and convenience of your own home.

I also can meet you at an outdoor location of your choice.

Where is your Studio?

Heather Barr works exclusively on-location, at YOUR home, or outdoor location. Even the studio type portraits, are taken in the comfort of your home.

Where do you travel too?

Heather Barr Photography provides on-location portraits thoughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Southern New Hampshire.

What are our options for session times?

Heather Barr Photography sessions provide a relaxed and comfortable custom photography session for you and your family. Sessions take place at a time that is convenient to you & your child's schedule. Heather Barr provides weekends and weekday sessions. I recommend more children do be photographed in the morning, older children/families, the afternoon sun provides a very beautiful light.

Can you provide help on clothing or recommend outdoor locations?

Absolutely, I provide detailed worksheets and planning guides, as well as available to discuss your clothing options, session timing and goals of your photography session.

What does our session fee include?

Session fee includes pre-planning guides and phone/email consultation. 1-2 hour photography relaxed photography session custom designed to fit your needs. An online slideshow of your images set to music to share with friends and family. An onlineshopping cart for you to make your selections and to mark your favorites. The shopping cart can also be utilized by friends and family to make their purchases directly to me.

Do you provide props and backdrops?

Yes, I provide most of the items seen in my gallery, I recommend using items that you may want to incorporate into the session, a special blanket, favorite stuffed animal, etc.

I provide the backdrops in assorted colors, black, white, grey, tan, etc.

Do you provide retouching and how much does it cost?

Complimentary retouching is included in the purchase of any print or digital file. This includes stray hairs, blemishes, fine lines, infant acne, etc.

More extensive photo retouching is available, including swapping of heads, digital weight loss, removal of double chin, etc.
